Deann oversees the European expansion of Shopify, the global commerce platform powering millions of modern, high-growth brands including Gymshark, Huel, War Paint for Men and Ooni. She leads Shopify’s strategy to help European merchants sell on every surface and drive retail innovation hand in hand with Europe’s most exciting businesses. In her role, she also drives the expansion of Shopify’s European ecosystem, with the objective to empower merchants to deliver the experiences they want for their customers, and drive forward innovation through its partners and developer community.
An experienced technology executive, Deann’s career spans over two decades in a range of leadership and C-level roles for ecommerce and SaaS businesses, such as eBay, Mettr and Sizmek.
